"This morning, the band was struggling through a piece by John Clayton called Soupbone, a medium swinger. The main obstacle, of course, was that they were not feeling the groove together. All I had to do was remind them of what it felt like when we were dancing together, and – like magic, it started swinging. So thank you both for sharing your insight and artistry."
